On my Salt Lake City breakfast tour I’m focusing mostly on newer spots, but I’m including a few places I’ve visited before because they’re still fresh to the valley. One staple that deservedly makes the list is Beaumont — I grabbed a breakfast burrito there and knew it had to be highlighted.

I appreciate Beaumont for a few reasons, but the top two are convenience and freshness. If you spend time in the Wasatch Front mountains, Beaumont is an excellent place to fuel up before a day outside. I love grabbing a breakfast burrito on my way up the canyon before a big ski day. The drive-through makes it quick and accessible without sacrificing quality. While many drive-through burritos from Mexican spots are satisfying, they can sometimes leave me feeling heavy or greasy—especially if I’m heading into strenuous activity right after. Beaumont manages to avoid that.

The Beaumont breakfast burrito is filled with fresh eggs, bacon, avocado, roasted corn, and bell peppers. What elevates it is the sauce — the creamy tomatillo-escabeche dressing adds a bright, balanced flavor that ties all the ingredients together. A great sauce can make or break a burrito, and this one earns high marks.

Tucked between 3900 and 4500 South on Wasatch Boulevard, Beaumont offers much more than a standout breakfast burrito. Their coffee and pastries are consistently good, and the burrata salad is a favorite for a lighter, upscale option. Beaumont reliably delivers quality food in a welcoming environment.
One small caveat: great food draws crowds, and Beaumont can get busy, especially on weekends. If you’re just grabbing pastries and coffee, the quick stop or drive-through works well. If you plan to sit and enjoy the patio or indoor seating, expect a short wait during peak times. The patio and the thoughtfully designed interior make it worth the visit when you have time.
Beaumont is a dependable choice for a fresh, flavorful breakfast before a day in the mountains or a casual weekend stop for coffee and pastries.
