Grilled Foil-Wrapped Tuna Steaks for Quick Weeknight Meals

Ingredients:
1 (6 1/2 ounce) can tuna, drained and flaked
3 sweet gherkins, diced
1/4 lb American cheese, torn into small pieces (about 3–4 slices)
2 hard‑boiled eggs, diced
1/2 green pepper, finely diced
1/2 small onion, finely diced
Mayonnaise, to taste
6 hamburger buns

Directions:
Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
In a medium bowl, combine the drained tuna, diced gherkins, torn cheese, diced hard‑boiled eggs, diced green pepper, and diced onion. Add mayonnaise a little at a time and mix until the mixture reaches your desired creaminess. Season with salt and pepper if desired.
Spoon an even portion of the tuna mixture onto each hamburger bun. Wrap each filled bun in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet.
Bake for about 15 minutes, until warmed through and the cheese begins to soften.
Serve warm—these make a simple, tasty option for casual gatherings or a relaxed pajama party.
