This is my favorite go-to smoothie—perfect for breakfast, lunch, or anytime you need a bright, fruity pick-me-up. Everyone in my family loves this Strawberry Grapefruit Smoothie. It’s beautiful, refreshing, and so easy I often drink the entire blender myself.

The recipe is just four ingredients and comes together in under five minutes. I love using ruby red grapefruit for its sweetness and color. If you’re curious, grapefruit is a favorite of mine—it’s also featured in my grapefruit mojitos and honey-roasted grapefruit parfait popsicles.

A powerful blender makes all the difference. I use a Vitamix, and after trimming the grapefruit I toss it into the blender whole. Using a frozen banana keeps the smoothie cold and thick—if needed, add a splash more orange juice to reach your preferred consistency.

This smoothie is also very adaptable. Add chia seeds, protein powder, flaxseed, or a frozen kale leaf for extra nutrients. These additions easily boost fiber, protein, and vitamins without changing the easy preparation.
